Trocs LITE app for iPhone and iPad

This application for the iPhone and iPod Touch is used to produce on-screen artwork based on the Hypotrochoid curve. These are the curves that can be produced using a Spirograph set.

The original version of this product is called Trocs and allows a user to specify values for the parameters which control the shape of the curve being generated.

However, this LITE version simplifies the process for the user by using random values for the necessary parameters. This allows many different and unique "works of art" to be easily produced.

Sit back, relax and watch your artwork materialize before your eyes and try to guess what the final shape will look like.

4 different colored pens are used to draw different segments of each curve to increase the visual impact of the finished artwork.

The curves generated can be quite complex and may require a long time to complete the drawing on the screen so a feature has been enabled that allows the user to force immediate completion by a double tap on the screen.

Other features allow the user to zoom-in and move the artwork around on the screen.
